Our mission at Edwalton Food Hub is clear: food for people, not for landfill. We believe in tackling food poverty while being environmentally conscious. By rescuing high-quality surplus food from local retailers, we are determined to reduce food waste and its negative impact on our planet. As a leading food waste reduction project in South Nottinghamshire, we engage with local partners to create meaningful change. Emma’s work has been invaluable- I’ve had MH issue lately that has left me with very little money due to not being able to work and so Emma supplying food that I’d have missed out on has been a life saver. I had cupboard stuff but no fresh food which is always so expensive. So with bananas, I made banana cake and with veggies I made a stir fry! I’ve had breadcrumb cod with chips too. The donations from Emma have made such a difference to the children u support in school in providing them breakfast each morning and fruit for a mid morning snack.
